About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, full-time 3D Printer Operator / Lab Production Assistant to manage our expanding in-house manufacturing line.
No prior dental or medical experience is required! Because all digital tooth movements and aligner designs are fully outsourced to a specialized digital lab, your role is completely focused on the physical 3D printing, post-processing, and quality control cycle. If you love 3D printing, working with technology, and executing precise mechanical recipes in a clean, professional environment, this is the perfect job for you.
What You Will Do:
- File Management: Download finalized digital print files (.STL format) from our secure laboratory cloud network.
- Printer Staging: Prepare, nest, and queue files using desktop 3D printing slicer software.
- Machine Operation: Run and maintain desktop liquid resin 3D printers (loading resins, managing build plates, performing routine calibrations).
- Post-Processing: Rigidly execute chemical post-processing steps, including isopropyl alcohol (IPA) washing cycles and timed UV light curing recipes.
- Quality Control: Perform detailed physical inspections of finished aligners to ensure crystal-clear transparency, smooth edges, and flawless accuracy.
- Lab Management: Maintain a sterile, safe, and highly organized laboratory workspace while tracking resin and cleaning supply inventory.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3D Printing Experience: Hands-on experience operating consumer or industrial resin (SLA/DLP) or filament (FDM) 3D printers. Hobbyists, makerspace members, and technical school graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
- Meticulous Accuracy: Ability to strictly follow step-by-step chemical and mechanical production guidelines without cutting corners.
- Technical Literacy: Comfort navigating file management software, cloud portals, and printer slicer software.
- Manual Dexterity: Great hand-eye coordination and patience for handling delicate, high-precision dental components.
- Reliability: A dependable professional who takes pride in maintaining an efficient, clean workshop space.
